Last weekend was a blast!! On Friday i went to senses to find out that i have a new boss now, but he is cool, nontheless but i got tipped out pretty nicely that night.
Saturday was the big talent show in marble falls, after my 2 hours of sleep i got up and wore my "hot new outfit" from express, that i am going to wear for mississippi , just to break it in. So me and scarlett went to marble falls, which is a pretty town. We judged the optional part of a beauty pagent, i kinda dont like the crazy parent involved with that, but the winner sang lucky!! lol Go britney. So after that they took us to lunch at subway, then i got to pick out some songs to use for my fiesta texas audition from the vocal coach and talent show coordinator kay lynn's msuic collection. I also got to take my little courtney to see the polar express at the theatre there, afterwards i won her a minnie mouse key chain in one of the arcades. So at the talent show i so many talent blew me away. Especilly our girl we rep Lana, she did a dance routine and left my jaw on the ground, basically she tied herself for 1st place. She also did a duet dance and sang j.los lets get loud!! She so needs to do music videos. Well Alot of good talent were there, my little courtney did a hilarious monolouge to entertain us and this awsome singer Gabe entertained us with 5 songs. All in all im so proud to rep these talented kids.
Sunday was a normal lazy day, i was trying to get over being a little sick but im ok now, aside from allergies. This past week was a short one so it was even more hecktic. It all came to a climax when i found out that stephanie will be leaving us in two weeks to work in the makerting dept of Univision, which if you dont know is the biggest latin label as well as a multi media provider of both telelvision and radio. So i am proud of her, she works hard and has her masters and will go far. Now i have a contact in the record industry.We made a deal that if she becomes a ceo or vp she would automatically hire me. We shall see, but i defenetly want to throw her a going away party. I cant lie thought, that day and even now i am freaking out a bit, since i know stef has alot she does and now its just going to be me and scarlett, but nothing has been discuessed with my boss yet....just worrying before the storm i guess. But, i will cross that path when it comes to that.
My thanksgiving was good ,especilly since i didn't have to cook and i got to sleep in. First me and my mom went to our inlaws house and ate around 2:30 then i only ate like a half a plate then i was full. From there we went to my moms bst friend marie's house. I helped myself to some pie, coffee and some great ham and creamed corn...just tiny bites, cause its from rudys, thats why i had to indulge. From there i dropped my mom off at bingo and then went to see my dad and step mom. I had some more dessert then got a call from my friend mike who told me we couldn't see a movie cause he needed a power nap to be in line at bestbuy at 3am........lol .....silly shoppers. Personally i dont see it nessicary to go to such extreames, i would rather pay the extra money to go at my convienience. Thats my view on the day after thanksgiving shopping.
I saw the gang later that night........All i am going to say is that i wish all the Drama would stop!!! We have X-mas and rickys grad coming up and i really dont think it will be cool to have a room divided.
So now i am at the office to get some work done, since i am sure more work will be tossed at me. I was supposed to have rehearsal for the owl and the pussycat today, but it was post poned til tuesday ....Thank god!! I need more time to work on my lines. This next week will be busy, i have a voice lesson in san saba on wednesday, and i have my six flags audition saturday as well as work and rehearsal and also i have rickys grad on sunday. The next weekend is exams and i am off to mississippi and tennesse to do my scouting. Then stef will be gone :(. But x-mas isn't too far from that. OHH My courtney angelicas B-day is Dec 7th!!!!!!!
FYI: I just won two tickets to a jazz concert on magic 105 just now...i am qualified to win a limo ride and dinner for 2 there.
