Yes, i remembered and had a few minutes to update infront of a computer. Alot has happened both good and bad, mostly good since my last post. Hamlet opened successfully halloween weekend, and thus far i think is the best show st philips has done. We didn't get to go to the american college theatre festival due to issues out of our control, but i was glad to have the last week off, from theatre at least. It is a bit bitter sweet since this is my last show with st philips. I have learned alot there but i am ready to move on, much like the whole dept.
Also, i got a nice but brief visit from ceci, we had lunch, thai food yummy, then saw the area band competition since tori was in it. It was surreal since the seniors were freshmen when i was a senior. They did a pirates of the carribean show and the drumline was clean in the show, but from what i found out the whole line is very choppy in the stands...oh well the nelson babies as we are referred to will be gone next year. Speak of the devil i bumped into him and brandy stevens, a girl i knew at ed white how weird.
Also since the last post, i got in touch with my best friend in 5th and 6th grade travis. It wasn't weird, its like we were friends the whole time in between, which is weird cause most of my high school, let alone middle school friends are long gone except for those special few, but its cool to get back in touch. He is in the marine crops and in north carolina but we are going to hang out this thanksgiving, he was supposed to come halloween weekend but he was on duty.
Speaking of halloween, what a crazy and fun weekend. That friday my show opened and went well. The next night i was wearing my gold elvis sideburned glasses and a gold shirt, i was looking hot. That night 40 homeschooled theatre kids, weird concept? , went to the show and wanted a meet and greet and ofcourse i talked to them and interacted. I loved giving out my autograph and giving advice. That night me, will, vanessa bianca and alexis went to catch a drag show in honor of halloween. But first, i had to get piss ass drunk at will's, well i asn't driving why not? I from what i remember was crazy at the club, ya know smoking the door girls cigar, dancing in cages, singing in the patio to soroity girls, given drinks and finally fell asleep on th dance floor. That sunday was blast being colossus and being rained on, but i loved hanging out with the group!! Thanks guys.
Aside from internal family rifts, that arnt to be mentioned but are no real problem, me and my mom are cool, but those who know me know what i mean. My grandma passed away tuesday.....she was my lat grandparent...even though we wern't close i will remember her. Other stuff negative happened but i dont want to waste my energy on it.
Calliope is going grat i was sent out on 5 auditions in one week, hopefully something will happen. As of right now a workshop has been going on all weekend from toni cobb brock, a leading film casting director in texas. She is so down to earth and already have a good repore with her. My workshop isn't til 2 but im here to make sure she is ok and to make sure it runs smoothly, she also brought her assistant sally allen, she is so high school girly cute, but already 29, but who cares about age.
I got a second job at a new club in town called senses as a barback. Good tips and easy job, just little sleep. Mostly wed-sat and some sundays , but not tonight, and ofcourse i get nights off. Last night i amde away with like $40 just for picking up drinks. www.sensesmegaclub.com is the site.
Well Hamlet closes this weekend hope some peps can go. I am making goodie bags for my last show with them, but i saved good news for last. I got cast in a show at the Alamo Theatre as the lead in the Owl and the Pussycat, and yes hell has frozen over cause im on the Calliope payroll. I just pray things continue to go well not only for me but for everyone else.
